Chaos In The Air: VeryDarkMan Apologises After Heated Clash Delays Flight

According to Ireporter Online, social media personality Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has issued a public apology following his altercation with comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, widely recognised as Mr Jollof, which caused a disruption aboard a United Nigeria Airlines flight on Monday.

In a video posted on Instagram on Tuesday, Otse acknowledged that the confrontation was unnecessary and accepted full responsibility for the incident. He noted that his actions may have caused inconvenience to passengers who had urgent commitments.

Otse expressed regret that the delay triggered by the clash could have had serious consequences for travellers, including those with business meetings or medical emergencies. He apologised broadly to passengers of all ages, as well as to the pilot and cabin crew, stressing that he was unhappy with his behaviour despite some social media users treating the incident as entertainment.

While admitting that he could not guarantee avoiding disputes entirely in the future, he assured that such confrontations would no longer occur in public spaces where people’s movements could be hindered. He concluded by reiterating his apology for the disruption caused.
