According to industry insiders, Nigerian rapper Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, has explained why he prefers not to invest in emerging artistes. Speaking on the Adesope Live show, Zlatan described such investments as risky, noting the uncertainty of returns.

The rapper stressed that his primary focus in the music industry is business and financial stability. While he expressed willingness to collaborate with up-and-coming talents, he clarified that he would rather invest in tangible assets like real estate than fund artistes whose success is uncertain. Zlatan reflected on his early career, sharing that he faced significant pressure and anxiety due to financial instability.

“I would rather buy a house than put money into artistes whose future I cannot guarantee,” Zlatan said. “My goal is financial stability and responsibility. In the beginning, I struggled with balance and the pressures of the industry.”

In a related disclosure, Zlatan revealed that he quit smoking about four years ago. During a candid interaction with fans on Snapchat, he explained that the decision was personal and emphasized that he respects those who continue to smoke.
