Tragic End: Man Dies in Car Accident Fleeing After Killing Side Chick

In a harrowing turn of events, a Zimbabwean man identified as Mandla met a tragic demise in a fatal car accident while attempting to flee after allegedly killing his side chick. The incident unfolded following a violent altercation between Mandla and his lover, resulting in the untimely death of the woman.

Reports suggest that the confrontation arose from issues of infidelity, with Mandla expressing frustration over what he perceived as unappreciated efforts and love. In a voice note sent to friends via WhatsApp, Mandla detailed the altercation, claiming that he had financially supported his side chick, including sending her on fully paid holidays.

During the physical fight, Mandla reportedly pushed his girlfriend forcefully, causing her to strike her head on a solid object and leading to her tragic death. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Mandla attempted to escape accountability by fleeing the scene in his Mercedes Benz, speeding down Gwanda Road, possibly heading towards South Africa.

In the voice note, Mandla namedropped a person named Anele, accusing her of being instrumental in bringing his girlfriend down for him. However, Mandla’s attempt to escape met a devastating end when his Mercedes collided head-on with an inter-Africa bus upon reaching Kensington. The impact was so severe that the car’s engine was reportedly catapulted over 50 meters away.

Regrettably, Mandla lost his life in the collision, leaving behind a family that includes a wife and five children. The occupants of the bus, fortunately, escaped without injury. The incident highlights the tragic consequences of domestic altercations and the perilous outcomes that can follow attempts to evade responsibility for one’s actions.
