Popular Yoruba actress Aunty Ramota has opened up about her personal life, career journey and experiences within the Nigerian movie industry.

Speaking during a recent interview, the actress addressed the public’s curiosity about her physical appearance, stating that she was born that way and has never received any specific explanation from her parents regarding it. She noted that she has embraced her appearance and views it as part of God’s design for her life.

Ramota also expressed disappointment over not being invited to the burial ceremony of the late father of Nollywood actor Odunlade Adekola. According to her, she felt hurt by the omission, considering their relationship within the industry.

On matters of romance, the actress disclosed that she is currently not interested in pursuing any relationship and prefers to focus on herself. She added that anyone interested in her should be patient, as she is not ready for a romantic commitment at this time.

The actress further spoke about her relationship with fellow actor Ijoba Lande, describing him as her husband despite the fact that traditional marriage rites, including the payment of bride price, have not yet been completed.

Reflecting on the various aspects of her life, Ramota maintained that she is comfortable with who she is and remains committed to living life on her own terms despite public scrutiny and speculation.
