VIDEO: Shettima, Atiku, Masari, Governors Storm Special Prayer For Tinubu’s Late Mother

According to Ireporter Online, Vice President Kashim Shettima on Sunday led a high-level delegation of governors, ministers, traditional rulers, and other top government officials to the National Mosque in Abuja for the annual special prayer session held in honour of the late Chief Abibatu Mogaji, mother of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event, which has become a yearly tradition, was disclosed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communication (Office of the Vice President), Stanley Nkwocha. It drew prominent political figures, Islamic scholars, and government functionaries who gathered to pray for the repose of the late matriarch’s soul.

Among the dignitaries present were the Governors of Borno and Yobe States, Babagana Umara Zulum and Mai Mala Buni, who joined the Vice President in the solemn observance.

Also in attendance were the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Muttaqa Rabe Darma; the Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu; and the Special Adviser to the President on Political Matters, Ibrahim Masari. Several former governors, including those from Kogi and Kaduna States, alongside traditional rulers and senior officials, were also part of the gathering.

The annual prayer session was organized in remembrance of Chief Abibatu Mogaji, a respected businesswoman, community leader, and influential political figure whose legacy continues to resonate beyond Lagos State.
