Gospel singer Kehinde Adegbodu has addressed growing public concern over his health following widespread speculation sparked by noticeable weight loss and changes in his appearance.

According to Ireporter Online, the gospel artiste clarified that his condition is not linked to any life-threatening illness, explaining that his recent physical changes were the result of a domestic fire incident at his residence.

He revealed that the incident left him with injuries on his left hand as well as parts of his face, including his lips, adding that he chose not to publicly disclose the situation at the time.

In a video shared via his Instagram page, Adegbodu reassured fans that he is medically stable and recovering, while urging supporters to keep him in their prayers.

He also dismissed claims suggesting that the incident was spiritual in nature, stressing that life’s challenges come in different forms and should not always be interpreted as supernatural attacks.

Reacting to allegations linking alcohol consumption to the fire outbreak, the singer firmly denied the claims, stating that alcohol had no connection to the incident.

Adegbodu further explained that his slimmer appearance was partly health-related, noting that he had previously been advised by some individuals to reduce weight due to concerns over his earlier body size.

He was quoted as saying, “To everyone that is worried about me, I am very okay and medically fit. I had a minor fire accident in the house but I decided not to post it on the social media. It affected my left hand and some parts of my face including my lips. It was not a spiritual attack. Everyone has one or two things they are battling with medically and spiritually. Just remember me in your prayers. To those saying my alcohol consumption is too much, alcohol didn’t cause the fire. I lost some weight because of my health. When Taiwo passed away, people called me that my stomach was too big and I should work on it. I am not sick.”
