Ronaldo was among the distinguished guests invited as President Trump hosted Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince, Mohammed bin Salman, during his official visit to Washington. The Al Nassr striker arrived in the United States alongside his fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez, as part of the Crown Prince’s high-level delegation.

The 40-year-old football legend appeared in a black tuxedo as he joined other influential figures at the event, including Elon Musk and U.S. Vice President JD Vance.

While addressing attendees at the dinner, Trump highlighted Ronaldo’s presence, noting how excited Barron had been to meet the five-time Ballon d’Or winner. The president remarked that the encounter even earned him “a little more respect” from his teenage son, simply for facilitating the introduction.

Ronaldo’s visit to Washington came just days after he received a red card in Portugal’s World Cup qualifier against Ireland, which saw him miss the subsequent win over Armenia.
