Nollywood actress and filmmaker Toyin Abraham has pledged to stand firmly by her colleague, Iyabo Ojo, following what she described as relentless bullying and online attacks.

According to Ireporter Online, Toyin, in a heartfelt Instagram post on Monday, revealed that she had been praying for Ojo while hoping the hostility would cease. She expressed her determination to openly defend her colleague, stressing that she was prepared to go all out, even if the public perceived her actions as excessive.

In her words: “Aunty Iyabo, I’ve watched you get bullied for months. I stayed silent, fighting with you in spirit, hoping they’d stop. But they didn’t. Now, I’m about to react — and I pray the world won’t call it overreacting. Because this time, I’m going to overdo it. Not just as a mum but as the Oversabi that I am. Let’s go.”

Meanwhile, Iyabo Ojo disclosed that her decision to ignore the insults, curses, and even death wishes repeatedly directed at her family, including her grandson, Rakeem Mkambala, was intentional. She explained in a Sunday Instagram post that she had endured the taunts from actress Lizzy Anjorin because of her faith, choosing restraint over retaliation.

Ojo revealed that her legal team is already handling the matter while she prepares for the next phase of the battle. She emphasized her focus on supporting her daughter, Priscillia, in her journey through motherhood, noting that her priorities lie in family before addressing the controversy. She added that once she returns to Lagos, she would confront the issue decisively.
