Unstoppable! Cardi B Secures Historic Second No. 1 Album Debut

According to Ireporter Online, American rapper Cardi B has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the only female rapper to see both of her first two studio albums debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart.

Her sophomore project, Am I The Drama?, entered the chart at the top spot with 200,000 equivalent album units in its opening week. This comes seven years after her Grammy-winning debut album, Invasion of Privacy (2018), which also launched at number one. Billboard confirmed the accomplishment in a post on Sunday, noting that the album recorded the biggest first-week numbers of 2025 for an R&B/hip-hop release by a woman, according to data from Luminate.

Beyond its chart-topping debut, Am I The Drama? also achieved the strongest opening-week sales of the year for a female hip-hop/R&B artist, powered by record-breaking streaming figures and robust physical sales across vinyl and CD variants.

Cardi B is set to embark on a major arena tour in February 2026 to promote the album, further cementing her status as one of the leading forces in global music.

In addition to her chart success, Cardi B secured a Guinness World Record for the most drone deliveries in one hour. On September 19, 2025, she teamed up with Walmart, Wing Drone Delivery, and Atlantic Records to distribute 176 signed copies of Am I The Drama? via drones across the Dallas–Fort Worth region of Texas. Guinness described the initiative as a world-first, blending music promotion with innovative technology.

The rapper hailed the unique rollout as “a special moment for my fans and a crazy new way to drop music,” highlighting the groundbreaking fusion of entertainment, technology, and fan engagement.
