On Sunday, Niger Delta leader Asari Dokubo paid a “congratulatory” visit to the residence of the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, in Abuja.
The APC shared photos of Dokubo’s visit on social media (formerly known as Twitter), a few weeks after Ganduje’s recent assumption of the role of the party’s National Chairman.
While not an officially recognized member of the APC, Dokubo is known for his strong support of President Bola Tinubu.
On June 16, he had a private meeting with the President at the State House where they discussed various matters, including investigations into allegations of extensive oil bunkering involving influential naval commanders.
