He’s a BAD BOY: Reactions As Oshiomhole Finally Cremates Philip Shaibu Leaves Him At The Mercy Of Obaseki

Haha, I really adore the internet because it has enabled people of all ages to connect seamlessly. For instance, when it comes to using social media, there’s not a significant distinction between my son and me. This means that everyone is on an equal playing field when it comes to social media.
In the realm of trending topics, they hold relevance for both the elderly and the young. I assume you’re familiar with the prevailing slang “You Are A Bad Boy?” This choice of wording represents a remarkable feat, possibly deserving of high commendation.
Haha, this new slang is connected to Apostle Suleman.
With all the respect owed to my mentor, Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, kindly allow me to continue after expressing these sentiments.
“Oshiomhole is a Bad Boy !” Today, Oshiomhole playfully put an end to all the speculations about Philip Shaibu’s potential move to the APC by metaphorically “cremating” the idea.
In Benin City, Oshiomhole delivered these statements, which were not only amusing but also a strong testament to his unparalleled oratory skills. With a mastery of the English language, Oshiomhole expressed:
“Let me state that APC is not a place for rehabilitation. I can assure you of that. We, in APC, are content with our current status; we are content in opposition, and we are not prepared to accept individuals who are seeking refuge due to their political misfortunes. There are no Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) camps within the APC.”
Could you envision such a scenario? This is why I referred to the people’s leader as quite audacious. Oshiomhole went on to clarify that during his time as governor, he backed someone else, namely Obaseki, over his deputy as he was preparing to leave office. Remarkably, despite this, the deputy didn’t pursue any legal action against him.
As for Philip Shaibu, you know how they say a stubborn fly follows the corpse into the grave. You see, Philip displayed immaturity by engaging in an early conflict with Obaseki, and this impulsive decision will undoubtedly come back to haunt him.
Swiftly, Philip’s political relevance will diminish to the point of nonexistence. In colloquial terms, we might say “RIP” – farewell to a once-promising politician who departed prematurely from the scene.
The Benin local would often use the phrase “Late Philip Shaibu of Blessed Memory.” When such words are spoken, it’s a clear indication that the individual’s political future cannot be revived.
Please note, this is not a desire for anyone’s demise, but rather a colloquial expression among people in Benin City. It vividly portrays a deeply unfortunate state of affairs, similar to labeling the wife of a man who fails to fulfill his family responsibilities as a widow, signifying she has a husband in name only, but not in substance.
The situation involving Philip Shaibu should stand as a cautionary tale for everyone, reminding us that as we ascend in our pursuits, it’s essential to treat those we encounter with kindness since we might require their support when circumstances change.
Philip now finds himself in a political isolation. Oshiomhole, his former mentor, has disavowed him, and his allegiance-shifting boss, Godwin Obaseki, who went against Oshiomhole’s wishes, is now distancing himself and considering his impeachment.
Now, I’d like to hear your thoughts. Was it a prudent decision for Philip to distance himself from Obaseki a year prior to the gubernatorial elections? Who is the driving force behind Philip Shaibu’s bold actions?
