Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger have announced their plans to permanently withdraw from the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) by 2025. Session of Heads of State and Governments in Abuja, Nigeria, on Sunday.
Touray outlined that the withdrawal process will take place between January 29 and July 29, 2025, allowing room for final discussions and potential diplomatic negotiations.
