‘You Have The Ability To Do More’ – Alonso’s Message To Victor Boniface

Bayer Leverkusen’s coach, Xabi Alonso, expressed admiration for Victor Boniface’s outstanding performance in their 4-1 triumph over Hoffenheim last Saturday.

Alonso emphasized that he anticipates even more from Victor Boniface, particularly in terms of defensive contributions when the team is not in possession.

Recall that in the 4-1 victory, the 23-year-old Boniface played a pivotal role in Die Werkself’s emphatic victory, contributing an assist for the opening goal and scoring twice to kick off his Bundesliga campaign for the 2024-2025 season.

Alonso believes that there is still room for growth in Boniface’s game. He stressed the importance of the striker’s defensive efforts, while also acknowledging his offensive skills.
