BREAKING: What President Tinubu Just Did After AU Meeting In Nairobi

After attending the 5th Mid-Year Coordination Meeting of the African Union (AU) in Nairobi, Kenya, President Bola Tinubu has departed from the Kenyan capital. He had left Abuja on Saturday to join other leaders from across the continent for the meeting and is scheduled to return to Nigeria on Monday.

During the AU meeting, the President emphasized that Africa cannot achieve integration and prosperity while its people suffer from pain and distress. He reiterated the importance of African unity and strength, firmly rejecting the idea of a new scramble for the continent.

Additionally, on Saturday, Tinubu called on African leaders to uphold democracy, the rule of law, and ensure political stability. He also urged the United Nations to take a resolute stance against military coups. Tinubu emphasized the need for African military institutions and states to recognize and respect the importance of democratic renewal.
