[BREAKING] Kogi Central: Natasha Emerges Victorious At Tribunal (DETAILS)
On Wednesday, the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal rendered the victory of Sen. Abubakar Ohere in the Kogi Central senatorial election null and void.
Furthermore, the court proclaimed Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan as the rightful victor of the February senatorial election.

Presiding over the Tribunal, Justice K. A. Orjiako, who spoke on behalf of the unanimous three-member panel, explained that the results in favor of Ohere had been inflated in nine polling units within Ajaokuta Local Government Area (LGA).
Additionally, Natasha’s results had been intentionally reduced in those same areas by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), along with the deliberate omission of three other polling unit results in her favor in the same LGA.
After rectifying these discrepancies, the court declared Natasha, representing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the legitimate winner of the election. She garnered 54,074 votes, surpassing Ohere of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who received 51,291 votes.
