Breaking: SGF George-Akume Calls Emergency-Meeting With Organised Labour In Response Nationwide-Strike
The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, has summoned organised labour to an emergency meeting in response to the ongoing indefinite nationwide strike.
Comrade Festus Osifo, President of the Trade Union Congress of Nigeria, confirmed the meeting to The Nation on Monday.
According to him, labour leaders from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and TUC were heading to the SGF office for the meeting.
