New Era For First Bank Of Nigeria: Shareholders Approve Name Change To First Holdco

on Thursday, as confirmed by the company secretary, Adewale Arogundade, in a statement issued on Friday.

The name change will apply not only to the parent company but also to all its subsidiaries. In the statement, FBN Holdings outlined the key resolutions, which include changing the legal and brand names of the company from FBN Holdings Plc to First Holdco Plc and from FBNHoldings to FirstHoldco.

The company also authorized its directors to take all necessary actions to implement the changes, including adhering to any regulatory requirements. Additionally, upon completion of the name change, share capital increase, and the allotment of new shares, FBN Holdings will amend its Memorandum and Articles of Association to reflect the new name and issued share capital.
