Nicki Minaj Reveals Why She Stopped Going To Church After Career Took Off
According to Ireporter Online, American rapper Nicki Minaj has explained the reason she no longer attends church regularly, attributing the change to the demands of her increasingly busy music career.
Speaking during a recent appearance on The Bryce Crawford Podcast, Nicki Minaj said her church attendance reduced significantly as her career gained momentum and her performance schedule became more intense, particularly with shows often held on Friday and Saturday nights. She noted that these late-night commitments frequently leave her exhausted on Sunday mornings, making it difficult to attend church services.
The award-winning rapper emphasized that her decision was not a reflection of a loss of faith or a change in her beliefs. She maintained that she still believes in God and continues to nurture her personal relationship with Him, despite not being able to attend church as regularly as before.
Nicki Minaj further explained that her spiritual journey remains ongoing, adding that she is still working to maintain consistency in her faith practice in a way that fits her demanding lifestyle as a global performer.
