According to Ireporter Online, popular content creator MC Mbakara has issued a public apology to Nollywood actor Jim Iyke following backlash sparked by a viral elevator video involving the actor and Mbakara alongside his wife.

The footage, which gained widespread attention across social media platforms, captured a brief elevator encounter where Jim Iyke exchanged a quick handshake and greeting before exiting, reportedly due to a tight schedule. The clip later generated debate online after Mbakara expressed dissatisfaction with the interaction, suggesting the actor appeared unwelcoming during the brief exchange.

In his earlier reaction, Mbakara questioned the actor’s demeanour, stating that celebrities should not behave in a manner that makes others feel ignored or disrespected, remarks that quickly drew mixed reactions from fans and social media users. He later followed up with another post, clarifying that despite the moment, he still held admiration for the actor.

However, in a recent statement shared on his official Facebook page, Mbakara tendered an unreserved apology, admitting he was wrong for his comments and expressing regret over the situation. The apology has since generated further discussion online, with users divided over the incident and its interpretation.
