VIDEO: ‘Fake PFIPC DG’ Adeyemi Flown To Abuja Amid Probe

According to Ireporter Online, fresh developments have emerged following the arrest of the Director-General of the Peace and Forest Initiative Peace Commission (PFIPC), Adeniyi Adeyemi, over allegations that the organisation operated as a fake Federal Government agency.

Security operatives reportedly airlifted Adeyemi to Abuja aboard a private jet, where he is currently undergoing further interrogation as part of an ongoing investigation into the commission’s activities.

Sources familiar with the operation disclosed that the transfer was carried out through a coordinated security effort to facilitate an immediate investigation at the Federal Capital Territory. Authorities are examining allegations that the commission unlawfully presented itself to the public as an official Federal Government institution.

Investigators are also scrutinising the commission’s structure, mode of operation and the circumstances surrounding its establishment. In addition, security agencies are reportedly assessing its sources of funding, affiliations, operational activities and the identities of individuals who may have served in various capacities or represented the organisation.

The investigation is expected to establish the full extent of the commission’s operations and determine whether any individuals or organisations collaborated with it under the impression that it was a legitimate government agency.
