Chioma Is My Life Coordinator’ – Davido Opens Up On His Spending Habits

According to Ireporter Online, the Afrobeats singer made the revelation during a viral online video where he was seen contacting his wife while experiencing difficulty accessing his account.

In the video, Davido called Chioma and requested that she send $4,000 to his personal assistant, Lati, explaining that he was unable to complete the transaction himself due to login issues.

The singer was heard addressing his wife affectionately while asking for the transfer, before informing her that he was preparing to travel back to Nigeria.

Following the interaction, Davido’s official streamer, Davreltv, questioned him about whether Chioma had taken responsibility for managing his finances.

Responding to the question, the singer described Chioma as his “life coordinator,” admitting that his spending habits made her role necessary.

Davido explained that Chioma helps organise his affairs because he considers himself a reckless spender, adding that she plays an important role in keeping his life and finances structured.

The singer recently disclosed that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 monthly, an amount estimated to be between ₦300 million and ₦400 million, stressing that the cost of maintaining his celebrity lifestyle is significant.

According to Davido, the monthly expenses do not include the needs of his wife, Chioma, or other members of his household, and also exclude major purchases such as luxury vehicles and jewellery.

He noted that life as a global entertainer comes with huge financial responsibilities, with several expenses required to maintain his career, brand, and lifestyle.
