2023 Elections: What Tinubu Said After Voting In Lagos

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, voted at a polling unit in Bourdillion, Ikoyi, Lagos State.

Tinubu voted with his wife, Remi, and other party leaders.

Addressing reporters, he said “democracy is here to stay” in Nigeria and that he is “too confident of victory”.

He said the voting process is “going smoothly” and “going well”.

On voter turnout, the APC candidate said: “This is expected, we need a good turnout and that is the adoption and commitment to democracy and the democratic process must take place.”

When asked how certain he is of victory, Tinubu responded, “I’m too certain.”
