The confirmation of Aboki as the first female chief judge in Kano followed the consideration of a letter forwarded to the assembly by the state governor, Abba Kabir-Yusuf and read by the Speaker, Ismail Falgore, during Thursday’s plenary.
It should be recalled that the immediate past governor, Abdullahi Ganduje had, in March, sworn in Justice Aboki as the acting Chief Judge of Kano state.
