BREAKING: Former Deputy Speaker Is Dead (PHOTO)

Saleh Abubakar Dumba, a former Deputy Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, has died.

Dumba died on Thursday night, according to reports.

Alhaji Shatima Sani Korau, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chairman of Dass Local Government Area (LGA), expressed shock at Dumba’s death.

“I am sending my condolence message to late Honourable Abubakar Saleh Dumba.

“May Allah have mercy on him, light his grave and make death a rest for him, Amen,” Korau said in a statement.

Similarly, Jafaru Gambo Leko, an All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Representatives candidate in Dass Bauchi, wrote in a message to the deceased family, “Please accept our most heartfelt sympathies for the loss of Hon. Dumba. During this difficult time, our thoughts are with you and your family.”

The Janazah (Islamic funeral prayer) for late Dumba is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Friday at Gwallaga Central Mosque.
