BREAKING: Senate Approves Reno Omokri’s Ambassadorial Appointment
Abuja – The Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs has approved Reno Omokri as Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate. According to reports, Omokri, who previously served as a presidential media aide, received clearance following his appearance before the Senate on Thursday. His nomination was submitted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The announcement has already sparked reactions from prominent figures, including former President Goodluck Jonathan, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, and Senator Shehu Sani, coinciding with Omokri’s 49th birthday.
