Days After The Death Of Governorship Candidate In Abia, PDP Fixes Date For Fresh Primary
The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has set February 4, 2023 as the date for a new governorship primary in Abia State.
This is according to Elder Abraham Amah, the PDP Vice Chairman and Acting Publicity Secretary.

This decision is based on a directive from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) based on the new Electoral Act on the replacement of candidates due to death, in this case the death of PDP candidate for 2023 Professor Uche Ikonne.
Elder Abraham said in a statement on Friday that all interested candidates should collect Expressions of Interest and Nomination Forms from the PDP headquarters in Abuja.
