BREAKING: A’isha Is Dead, Buhari Reacts

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed shock at the death of Hajiya A’isha Rufa’i, Secretary/Director of the Ministry of Interior’s Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Board (CDCFIB).

In a statement issued yesterday in Abuja by his spokesman, Malam Garba Shehu, the President expressed sadness over the death of the director.

The late A’isha Rufa’i had received the commendation of Interior Minister Rauf Aregbesola for her “commitment and dedication to duty”.

The minister described her as “an example” while urging workers in the the Federal Civil Service to “assign her a higher responsibility” when the minister re-inaugurated the CDCFIB headquarters following its redesign and rehabilitation by the late scribe.

President Buhari expressed his deep sorrow over the death of A’isha Rufa’I and recalled the deceased’s contributions to the Federal Civil Service as an organizer and effective administrator in all of her previous roles.

He prayed for her soul’s repose and strength for her larger family members in Kano to bear the loss.
