Celebrity chef Hilda Baci has publicly condemned the online harassment directed at her 15-year-old brother after a lighthearted video they recorded together was widely reposted across social media, triggering a wave of mocking comments and manipulated images.

According to reports, the video, originally shared on Baci’s Snapchat, quickly spread to other platforms, where some users ridiculed the teenager and edited his photographs to make him appear larger for comic effect.

Reacting in a statement shared on X, Baci expressed disappointment that what was meant to be a fun sibling moment had been turned into an opportunity to bully a minor. She criticised those responsible, particularly adults, for participating in the ridicule of a teenager who had done nothing more than feature in a humorous video with his sister.

The celebrity chef maintained that her brother remains kind, deeply loved, and focused on growing into the remarkable young man she believes he will become. She stressed that hateful remarks and manipulated images would never define his worth or alter who he is.

Baci also appealed to social media users to be more mindful of the impact of their words, reminding them that there is a real teenager behind the viral posts who is capable of reading every insulting comment directed at him.
