This endless delay forced them to pour their hard-earned money into prolonged campaign efforts that stretched over the course of a year.

Amidst this political turmoil, a surprising contender emerged: Senator Abdullahi Adamu. His sudden rise to favoritism within the APC cabal puzzled many, given his controversial past statements and actions.
