Pastor Allegedly Contracts Hitmen To Eliminate Daughter’s Boyfriend

As per the Riverside Police Department, Samuel Pasillas, 47, reportedly paid $40,000 to have his daughter’s boyfriend eliminated.

Investigators revealed that Pasillas provided detailed information about the boyfriend to the hired men, including his whereabouts on the night of the shooting in October 2023.

The victim was targeted in a drive-by shooting on Oct. 21, 2023, in Riverside, where he sustained multiple gunshot wounds but managed to drive himself to a nearby hospital, ultimately surviving the attack.

Further investigations unveiled that Pasillas had contracted the hitmen due to his disapproval of his daughter’s relationship with the victim.

According to Riverside Police Officer Ryan Railsback, Pasillas not only provided information to the hired suspects but also paid them almost $40,000 for their services.

The two assailants then approached the victim, who was in his vehicle on Grove Community Drive in Riverside, and carried out the shooting, injuring him.

Last week, Riverside police apprehended Pasillas and one of the alleged hitmen, Juan Manuel Cebreros, 55, from Long Beach. However, detectives are currently seeking another suspect, Jesus Abel Felix Garcia, whose whereabouts remain unknown.

During a joint arraignment on Monday, March 18, at the Riverside Hall of Justice, Pasillas and Cebreros pleaded not guilty. They are scheduled for a felony settlement conference on March 26 and are both being held at the Robert Presley Jail in Riverside on $1 million bail each.
