Sources within the APC New Media Campaign Council allege that funds earmarked for local government development are being diverted to finance the Edo gubernatorial campaign. The council has urged Nigeria’s premier anti-corruption agencies, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC), to conduct a thorough and immediate investigation into these claims.
