ireporteronline  recalls that the federal government has proposed a budget of ₦47.9 trillion for the 2025 fiscal year, which includes new borrowings of ₦9.22 trillion. This proposal was approved by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) during their meeting on Thursday, November 14, 2024, at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja.

In preparation for the event, the chamber has undergone a comprehensive inspection to ensure that all facilities are in working order. Deputy Clerk Kamoru Ogunlana is overseeing the testing of sound systems, microphones, and audio-visual equipment to ensure smooth communication during the session.
