unexpected visit to input distribution centers in Kiyawa and Birninkudu for the 2025 wheat farming program, where he received multiple complaints from farmers about being charged extra fees.

Reacting swiftly, the Governor declared, “We cannot condone extortion. Those responsible must return the money to the farmers.” Namadi further instructed the police to apprehend Katanga and ensure all illegally collected funds are returned to the farmers. He also pledged to ensure that farmers receive the full allocation of farm inputs as promised by the Federal Government.

Governor Namadi expressed disappointment over delays and inefficiencies in the distribution of farm inputs and called on stakeholders to ensure timely delivery to farmers, enabling them to prepare adequately for the dry-season wheat farming.
