Tinubu Celebrates Iyalode Of Remoland, Sade Ogunbiyi, On 80th Birthday

According to Ireporter Online, President Bola Tinubu has extended warm congratulations to the Iyalode of Remoland, Chief Sade Ogunbiyi, on the occasion of her 80th birthday, commending her longstanding contributions to Nigeria and the global community across education, administration, banking, and community development.

The President, in a statement issued through his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, praised Ogunbiyi for a life defined by discipline, service, and continuous personal development. He noted that her professional journey began with a strong academic foundation in English Language and Educational Administration before she transitioned into teaching, university administration, human resources management, and later the banking sector, where she also distinguished herself.

Tinubu further highlighted her years of service at institutions in Nigeria and abroad, including teaching roles in Ogun State and the United States, as well as a decade-long administrative career at the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University. He also referenced her tenure in senior management at NAL Merchant Bank and her later role in the private sector before retirement.
