The Tonto Dikeh Foundation has unveiled “Project Shelter & Hope,” a new housing initiative designed to provide support and stability for vulnerable widows across Nigeria.

The programme was launched in commemoration of the 41st birthday of the foundation’s Board Chair, Tonto Dikeh. Under the initiative, five widows will be selected to receive fully owned homes as part of efforts to improve their living conditions and provide a fresh start.

According to information released by the foundation, the project is aimed at restoring dignity, security, and hope to widows who have demonstrated resilience despite difficult circumstances. The organisation noted that the initiative goes beyond providing shelter, describing it as a transformative effort to positively impact lives and create lasting change.

The foundation stated that the beneficiaries would not only receive homes but also an opportunity to rebuild their futures with renewed confidence and stability.
