Ignore It” — APC Denies Circulating 2027 Senatorial Nominees List

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has distanced itself from a circulating list of alleged senatorial candidates said to have emerged for the 2027 general elections, describing the publication as fake and unauthorized.

According to Ireporter Online, the clarification was issued on Thursday by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, who dismissed the trending document as false and misleading, insisting it did not originate from the party.

He explained that the party has yet to release any official list of senatorial candidates, stressing that due process is still ongoing and that only the National Working Committee (NWC) has the authority to announce authentic nominees through proper channels.

Morka further urged party members, stakeholders, and the general public to disregard the list in circulation, warning against the spread of unverified information capable of causing confusion and undermining the party’s internal democratic processes.

He reiterated that the APC remains committed to transparency and due process, adding that the official list of candidates will be made public only when all constitutional procedures have been duly completed.
