According to Ireporter Online, the veteran actor addressed the rumour in a video shared on his Instagram page on Friday after a fake obituary poster circulated across social media, triggering concern among fans and colleagues.

Ajasa, widely recognised for portraying police officers in Yoruba films and famous for his signature catchphrase, “Ta lo pa chief?”, confirmed that he is alive and in excellent condition.

In the video, the actor introduced himself and assured his supporters in Nigeria and across the world that there was nothing wrong with him. He stated that he remains hale and hearty, urging fans to disregard the false reports of his death.

Ajasa also condemned those responsible for spreading the fake obituary, expressing displeasure over the act and declaring that the evil wishes contained in the fabricated report would return to those behind it and their families.
