Eight members of the House of Representatives from Kano State have formally defected from the New Nigeria Peoples Party to the All Progressives Congress, marking a significant political shift in the state’s legislative landscape.

According to Ireporter Online, the defections were officially announced on Tuesday during plenary, which was presided over by the Speaker of the House, Tajudeen Abbas.
