According to Ireporter Online, the Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has assured Nigerians that the federal government is implementing decisive measures to provide more reliable and sustainable electricity. The Minister highlighted that the reforms introduced by President Bola Tinubu in the power sector are beginning to take effect, promising tangible benefits for households, businesses, and industries.

Adelabu made the remarks in his Eid-el-Fitri message titled “Let Our Sacrifices Strengthen National Progress,” acknowledging public concerns over potential blackouts caused by reduced gas supplies to thermal power plants. Despite these challenges, he emphasized that ongoing government reforms are gradually improving electricity supply and will yield significant results in the near future.

“Concrete measures are being implemented to ensure a more reliable and sustainable electricity system. Nigerians will soon experience the full benefits of the reforms initiated by President Tinubu,” Adelabu stated.

He further noted that recent diplomatic engagements in the United Kingdom promise substantial gains in investment, bilateral relations, and economic cooperation, reflecting a new trajectory for the nation. The Minister encouraged Nigerians to continue supporting these efforts to consolidate progress and build a more prosperous future.
