According to Ireporter Online, the Chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has expressed profound sadness over the tragic deaths of Nihinloluwa Agoro and her children, Temiloluwa and Isaac, in a road accident in Fort Bend County, Texas, on Sunday, March 15, 2026. The family was reportedly on their way to church when the accident occurred.

In a statement released through the Commission’s Head of Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa described the sudden loss as heartbreaking, emphasizing the devastating impact on the family during what should have been an ordinary journey. She extended her condolences to the Agoro family, prayed for the repose of the deceased, and wished comfort for those left behind.

Dabiri-Erewa also urged road users to exercise caution to prevent similar tragedies and wished a speedy recovery to any individuals injured in the accident. She affirmed her support for the Nigerian community in Texas and across the United States affected by the loss.

In a related statement, Dabiri-Erewa recently condemned the murder of 20-year-old Nigerian student Khaleed Oladipo in Leicester, United Kingdom. Oladipo, a second-year Cybersecurity student at De Montfort University, was fatally stabbed while returning home to watch a football match. His family described him as an exceptionally loved son whose life was tragically cut short.

Through NiDCOM’s Public Relations Officer, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, Dabiri-Erewa expressed deep sorrow over the incident, calling it a painful loss for both the Oladipo family and the wider Nigerian community at home and abroad. She also called on UK authorities to ensure a thorough investigation and justice for the deceased while reiterating NiDCOM’s commitment to the welfare and protection of Nigerians in the diaspora.
