Conjugal Bliss: Chief Owen Chamberlain Obaseki Celebrates His Niece on Her Wedding Ceremony. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Kevin Dawson.

I had the privilege of attending the traditional marriage and white wedding ceremony of my lovely niece, Hannah Ayo Daramola (now Mrs. Kevin Dawson), to her Ghanaian-born husband, Kevin Dawson, on Saturday, June 22nd, and Friday, June 28th, respectively, in London.

The traditional marriage ceremony, held at the Bishop Justus Church of England School (MAGPIE HALL) in Bromley, was a vibrant celebration of Yoruba and Ghanaian cultures. The arrival of the bride and her friends, as well as the groom and his friends, was a sight to behold. The parents of the bride and groom danced joyfully, and the bride price and accompanying gifts were warmly received by the bride’s father.

A highlight of the ceremony was when the bride’s sisters danced into the hall, their graceful movements and beaming smiles captivating the audience. They also delivered remarkable speeches, praising the couple and welcoming Kevin into their family.

The white wedding, from the church to the reception at THE WILLOWS, was truly breathtaking. Guests were treated to a wonderful celebration that continued late into the night. The best man’s toast was particularly moving, as he tearfully expressed his well-wishes for the newlyweds. Both parents of the bride and groom were also overcome with emotion, shedding tears of joy as they celebrated the union of their children.

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Dawson on their union! May their marriage be blessed with conjugal bliss and happiness forever.

Proudly Celebrated By,

Chief Owen Chamberlain Obaseki JP
