from an Instagram user, @isaacfayoseoriginal, which captured the disturbing confession. Amunde, along with an accomplice, reportedly attacked his mother with a stick, dragged her lifeless body outside, and ultimately disposed of it in a well.

During the police interrogation, Amunde confessed, “I and Walcot killed her. We killed her with a stick. Walcot has gone to his house. After we killed her, Walcot dragged her out of the house and we jointly carried her to the well.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Irene Ugbo, confirmed the arrest, stating that the case would be escalated to the command’s headquarters for thorough investigation.

“Yes, he has been arrested. He will be transferred to the police headquarters for further investigation tomorrow (Tuesday),” Ugbo added.
