Details Emerge As Gunmen Invade El-Rufai Estate

Suspected kidnappers have raided the well-known El-Rufai Estate in the Kuchiko Resettlement Development Area of Bwari Local Council in Abuja, abducting a resident named Chinedu.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday. According to Daily Trust, the victim was taken from his residence within the estate.

The victim’s wife confirmed the incident, stating that the assailants were heavily armed and forcefully took her husband.

She explained that the gunmen breached the compound’s fence and fired shots into the air to intimidate family members and neighbors before abducting her husband.

As of now, the kidnappers have not made contact with the family.

Mai Baba Bego, the chairman of the Kuchiko Resettlement Development Area, revealed that this is the fifth kidnapping case in the area in recent months, causing fear among residents. He urged the deployment of security personnel to prevent further incidents.
