For the All Progressives Congress (APC) , this year has been one of triumph, a testament to the hard work, resilience, and strategic brilliance of its members. Among these luminaries stands one woman whose contributions cannot be overlooked: Chief Bisi Idaomi, the Director of Administration for the APC Governorship Campaign Council.
Chief Bisi Idaomi is not just a name; she is a movement, a force of nature that reshaped the political landscape of Edo State in favor of the APC. Dubbed the “Iron Lady” of the campaign, she did not merely participate; she dominated. With strategic precision and unyielding determination, she dismantled the strongholds of the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), turning what seemed like an impenetrable fortress into rubble.
Her impact was so profound that PDP stalwarts, including Governor Godwin Obaseki and their candidate Asue Ighodalo, likely regret ever crossing paths with this formidable amazon. Chief Idaomi’s leadership was a masterclass in coordination, discipline, and effective execution.
Chief Idaomi ensured that the APC’s campaign machinery operated like a well-oiled engine. From mobilizing grassroots support to overseeing strategic operations, her influence was felt in every aspect of the campaign. She galvanized party members, fostered unity, and inspired confidence even in the most challenging moments.
Her ability to rally the party faithful and coordinate efforts across the state struck fear into the heart of the PDP. She understood the dynamics of Edo politics and leveraged this knowledge to deliver an overwhelming victory for Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa.
Beyond her role in the campaign, Chief Bisi Idaomi represents the strength and resilience of women in politics. She broke barriers, challenged stereotypes, and proved that leadership is not confined to gender. Her success story is an inspiration to countless young women in Edo State and beyond, showing that with courage and dedication, the impossible can be achieved.
As we celebrate the APC’s historic victory, we must not forget to honor the individuals who made it possible. Chief Bisi Idaomi’s contributions to the success of the party are immeasurable. She is a hero, a symbol of hope, and a beacon of excellence in political leadership.
Edo State owes a debt of gratitude to this remarkable woman whose efforts ensured that the vision of a better Edo under Senator Monday Okpebholo and Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa became a reality.
As we move into 2025, let us remember and celebrate Chief Bisi Idaomi, the Iron Lady who stood tall, fought hard, and delivered victory to the good people of Edo State.
