Good People Of Edo 2024: Hon. Abubakar Momoh’s Charisma And Okpebholo’s Historic Victory
As the countdown to the new year 2025 begins, with just hours away from joyous shouts of “Happy New Year,” memories of the past year swirl vividly. For the APC family, the celebrations will go beyond the usual—dancing to the rhythms of triumph and jubilation. Who can blame them? The year 2024 was nothing short of extraordinary, a year filled with sweet political victories and unforgettable achievements worth celebrating.
It was a monumental year for the Esan Nation—a year when their long-cherished dreams turned into a stunning reality. The much-anticipated Esan agenda came to fruition as Senator Monday Okpebholo, a proud son of Edo Central, ascended to the pinnacle of leadership, becoming the new landlord of Dennis Osadebe Avenue. This historic achievement is undoubtedly one for the ages, a milestone worthy of grand celebrations.
Yet, behind the jubilant festivities lie the stories of exceptional individuals whose unwavering commitment and strategic roles were instrumental in this triumph. In our ongoing series celebrating these remarkable contributors, we turn our spotlight on none other than the Minister of Regional Development, Engr. Abubakar Momoh, FNSE. His spectacular efforts and steadfast dedication were pivotal in steering this remarkable journey to victory, etching his name into the annals of Edo history.
During the heat of the campaigns, Engr. Abubakar Momoh was a force to be reckoned with—relentlessly rallying support for Senator Monday Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa. His presence was felt everywhere, passionately engaging the people and championing the APC candidates. Engr. Momoh didn’t just ask for votes; he embodied action, showcasing his ministry’s remarkable performance with ongoing construction projects and empowerment initiatives across the three senatorial districts. His words carried weight because they were backed by visible results, making his contributions unforgettable and cementing his role in the historic APC victory of 2024.
Engr. Momoh’s dedication extended beyond Edo North, where he held the fort for the APC with unflinching resolve. His influence transcended boundaries, drawing voters from across the other senatorial districts into the APC fold. The outcome of the elections was crystal clear—sharper than the resolution on DSTV.
Kudos to Engr. Momoh for his visionary leadership and relentless efforts that brought so much joy and progress to the people. His name will forever be associated with this monumental success.
As we celebrate this remarkable feat, we also extend our heartfelt goodwill to the newly sworn-in Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and his Deputy, Dennis Idahosa. Together, they represent a new dawn for Edo State—a leadership committed to driving development, fostering unity, and elevating the state to greater heights. The journey ahead holds immense promise, and with leaders like these, Edo State is undoubtedly set to thrive.
