future.

In a statement released on Thursday, APC spokesperson Felix Morka responded to Obi’s recent comments, where the former Anambra State Governor condemned President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for exacerbating the nation’s economic and security crises over the past 18 months.

Obi, in a press conference, urged President Tinubu to experience firsthand the deteriorating state of Nigerian hospitals and take a short trip to witness the country’s worsening situation.

APC further emphasized: “While Nigerians welcomed the New Year with hope for a brighter 2025, Peter Obi remains stuck in a cycle of doom and gloom. His statement, claiming that the country’s political, economic, and security situation is worsening, stands in stark contrast to the many positive indicators showing the nation’s rebound across key sectors. This makes Obi, undeniably, Nigeria’s leading doomsayer.”

As the political battle intensifies, Nigerians await further developments on this heated exchange, as both sides continue to spar over the country’s future.
