Tinubu Makes Victorious Homecoming, Visits Oba Of Lagos (PHOTOS)

Bola Tinubu has made his first trip to Lagos State since winning the presidential election.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate defeated Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) among others to win the election on Saturday.

During his triumphant homecoming on Sunday, the president-elect paid a visit to Oba Lagos Rilwanu Akiolu in his Iga-Iduganran Palace.

The former Lagos State governor promised not to disappoint Nigerians and to stick to his plans at the Oba’s palace. He vowed to work tirelessly for the people, comparing the road to victory to a World Cup match.

While thanking Nigerians for voting for him, he promised the Oba that he would not be used to disgrace the monarch.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu accompanied him.

Earlier, the president-elect was greeted at the airport by Femi Pedro, a former Lagos Deputy Governor; veteran politician Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; Muiz Banire, a former Lagos Commissioner for Environment; and Jumoke Okoya-Thomas, the state’s Woman Leader.
