Renowned Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has opened up about her transformative spiritual journey, describing how she overcame a long-standing struggle with shame, fear, and self-doubt to embrace her faith in Jesus Christ fully.
According to Ireporter Online, Dikeh revealed that for many years, she felt restrained by what she described as an “invisible chain” that hindered her from expressing her devotion openly. She noted that a turning point in her spiritual life came after participating in the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), which she said ignited a profound change in her heart and spirit.
Reflecting on her experience, Dikeh described it as the pinnacle of her forty-year spiritual journey, calling it both her “bravest” and “proudest” moment. She emphasized that the encounter with NSPPD allowed her to experience a deep, unconditional love for Jesus, free from shame or doubt.
Dikeh further explained that this spiritual awakening transformed her love for Christ from a quiet yearning into a passionate, unwavering devotion. She described it as a liberation that allowed her to stand fully in the light of her faith, recognizing that divine love has become the foundation of her identity and spiritual expression.
