The election season brings about a variety of events, both economic and historical. Economically, I mean that different economic activities are connected to electoral campaigns, and there are historical ties as well, especially for those who may witness great personalities visiting their town or village for campaigns.

For example, I had the opportunity to meet Obafemi Awolowo for the first time when I was a baby during his campaigns to the then-Bendel state, as I grew older, I met many others as a child during such campaign occasions.

Recent weeks have seen a flood of stories on Adams Oshiomhole’s ward-to-ward campaigns, and one standout quality that has been noted is how devoted to kids the Deputy DG of the APC presidential campaign committee is.
