Popular Edo Businessman Dies, Obaseki Reacts
Abel Omoruyi, the owner of Iyare Motors, a popular transport company with headquarters in Benin, has died.
After a brief illness, Omoruyi, also known as 007, died on Friday night at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has reacted to Omoruyi’s death.
Obaseki said in a statement on Saturday that the businessman was a rallying point for the transformation of Nigeria’s transportation industry.
As a result, Obaseki stated that Omoruyi was a shining example for future generations.
